This notice is for anyone hunting deer and elk in region one (which includes the easternmost portion of WA  — see map). There are new rules for hunters and processors to combat the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD).  

Hunters need to contact us directly for specific details on dropping off trim or carcasses. In general, no smoked meats can be done until a confirmed test result is provided. Test results are running 4 to 6 weeks out currently.
